Effective 1st June 2024 (12.00am midnight), the following changes are made to Lonpac Road Assist Program.

  1. Change of Call Center Service Provider

    The Call Center Service Provider will be changed from MI Call Center (MICC) to OneWorks Sdn Bhd (OW)

    The Hotline number 1-300-88-1138 remain unchanged.
  2. Revision to The Exclusions
    a)
    Towing Due to Breakdown Arising from Flood Damage

    Breakdown towing arising from flood damage is now available, PROVIDED the policy has been included with FLOOD cover, subject to the limit and other Exclusions as spelled out under the Program.

    The exclusion is revised as below:

b)
Towing Due to No Petrol or No Battery

Towing due to the following are NOT Covered under the programme:
(i) The vehicle has no fuel – For Non-Electric Vehicle (EV)
(ii) The vehicle has no battery – For EV

Members may call to the Call Center for assistance but all cost to be self-borne.

The exclusion is revised as below:

  1. Launching of New Road Assist Website

    The existing Road Assist App will be disabled from 1st June 2024 and eventually phased out.

    We will be launching our new Road Assist website @ www.ezlonpac.com/road-assist on 1st June 2024 as a replacement to the existing App with the following features: –
    i.
    Request for tow truck or roadside assistance.
    ii.
    Automatic breakdown/accident location detection using GPS.
    iii.
    Select your drop-off location from our list of Panel Workshops & or any other location selected by
    iv.
    Track the real-time location of the tow truck to your accident/breakdown location with Google Maps (New feature).
    v.
    Track the status of your request with progress updates.
    vi.
    Notify your accident or submit your claim to Lonpac.
    vii.
    Updated interface that is friendly to use.

    The Road Assist website can be accessed through the following from 1st June 2024 onwards:-
    i.
    Go directly to www.ezlonpac.com/road-assist
    ii.
    Access through www.lonpac.com (Click on the E-Assist logo at the top right section of the website or under Claims – Road Assist)
    iii.
    Access through the existing Lonpac Road Assist App* (Click on the link/button in the page to direct you to the new Road Assist website. If you do not see the link/button, please update your App)
    *Valid for a limited time until the App is phased out.
    iv.
    The Road Assist website link is available on all related policies/cover notes issued after 1st June 2024.
    Other benefits under the Program remain unchanged. We will send email and SMS to our motor comprehensive and TPFT (With SDPA) policyholders to inform them on these changes
